The Young Republicans represent the 18-39’s in Franklin County and give a “young” perspective to the Republican Party. Through events such as our Reagan Day Dinner and voter registration drives, we are a driving force behind the success of the Republican Committee.  Each year in October, we meet to honor the father of modern day conservatism.  The following link will show the speech that even today can guide us through the problems that our country face.

We are proud to announce that at it’s state convention, PAYR has voted our Reagan Dinner the Best YR Event in the state.

This announcement comes at a time when we are planning our second annual dinner where we have many distinguished guests confirming.

Susan Staub of the Pennsylvania Right to Work, will be the keynote speaker for the dinner and Attorney General (and hopefully future governor) Tom Corbett will also talk about be attending.

Let’s make this years Reagan Dinner the best yet!

Chairman Ben Rice has been named County Grassroots Coordinator for the Toomey Campaign.  The campaign will begin meeting on a monthly bases and encourages all YR’s to volunteer in whatever job that needs to be done.  Pennsylvania needs a conservative Republican senator that stands on principles and doesn’t enable the Obamanation that we find ourselves in.

First meeting will be August 27th at 6pm.  And remember the regular monthly meeting will be at 7pm after the campaign meeting.

Chairman Ben Rice and past Director Jaime Rice traveled to the YRNF Convention on July 10th and 11th to carry very important votes for the new leadership of the National Federation.  After a long battle on Saturday, Team Renewal, the slate of candidates that Pennsylvania endorsed sweep the election.

Great Job Audra Shay and Team Renewal…more proof the Republican Party is returning to it’s Conservative roots!

On July 4th in conjunction with the Franklin County GOP Committee and the Republican Women’s Council, FCYRS held a very successful TEA Party that drew over 600 people.

Event Coordinator and FCYRS Treasure Steve Brenize MC’d and lathered the crowd into a frenzy.  Thanks to all for the help and with another successful event, the future looks good for the GOP in Franklin County!

The Franklin County Young Republicans, Franklin County Republican Women, and the Franklin County Republican committee are pleased to announce the Franklin County TEA (Taxed Enough Already), to be held July 4th, at 10am in front of the Franklin County Courthouse.

This event will be a used to voice dissatisfaction with our government and everyone is encouraged to bring posters and signs. There will be contest for $100 for the best sign.

Speakers for the event are Bonnie Mellott-Keefer—Fulton County Commissioner, Pete Hallock—Business Owner and Author (Duped—A Story of Deception and Concealment), Jim Taylor—Chairman of the County Republican Committee, Erich Hawbaker—Candidate for School Board in Tuscarora School District, and Ben Rice—Chairman of the Franklin County Young Republicans.
